U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman in New Orleans has blocked the Obama Administration’s six-month moratorium on new deepwater drilling projects. Feldman said in his ruling that the Interior Department failed to provide adequate reasoning for the measure. The White House has indicated they will appeal the ruling.
